The invention provides a multifunctional headlamp and an image projector. A method and apparatus according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a vehicle headlamp assembly including at least one laser; and a controller in communication with the vehicle headlamp assembly to control the at least one laser to provide a plurality of functions.
