The invention aims to realize the diversification of the layout of the refrigerator. A refrigerator is provided with: a housing (1) having a metal outer box (11); and an antenna (3a). The outer case (11) is formed such that radio waves emitted from the antenna (3a) and reflected by the outer case (11) are oriented in a direction different from that of the antenna (3a).
