Silicon-based tetrahydrocannabinol derivative and composition thereof

Provided are silyl tetrahydrocannabinol derivatives and methods of synthesis thereof, wherein the derivatives comprise a tetrahydrocannabinol molecule and at least one silyl group containing a Si-O-Si bond.
