The method comprises the following steps: acquiring leakage current of the lightning arrester in different time periods and at least two kinds of environmental data influencing the leakage current; processing the leakage current to obtain phase angle difference data; training a BP neural network model based on the phase angle difference data and the environment data; and inputting environment data needing to be predicted into the trained BP neural network model to obtain target phase angle difference data.
