Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to the technical field of metal materials and metallurgy, and particularly discloses a high-elongation magnesium alloy and a production process thereof. The high-elongation magnesium alloy comprises the following chemical components in percentage by weight: 3.5%-4.5% of Al, 0.35%-0.45% of Mn, 0.05%-0.2% of Zn, less than or equal to 0.05% of Si, 0.05%-0.1% of Ca, less than or equal to 0.005% of Cu, less than or equal to 0.0010% of Ni, less than or equal to 0.0040% of Fe, less than or equal to 0.0005%-0.0015% of Be and the balance of magnesium. The tensile strength, the yield strength and the percentage elongation after fracture of the magnesium alloy prepared through the method are 236.76 MPa, 137.76 MPa and 12.87% respectively, the percentage elongation of the magnesium alloy is improved, and the magnesium alloy has high mechanical performance.
