By means of the method, the regularly-arranged nano particle colloid photonic crystal gel which is large in size and internally provided with few defects can be obtained. The principle of the method is that short-range orderliness is guaranteed by using regular nano particles initially, slow directional gelation is carried out after a gelatinous substance is added, and the gel is orderly generated from one section to the other end in a body mold in the process, so that enough time for arranging the nano particles is guaranteed, and the stability of the nano particles is improved. And meanwhile, internal stress caused by factors such as shrinkage in the gela
