Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a low-molecular-weight styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer which at least comprises the following preparation raw materials: styrene and maleic anhydride, and the molar ratio of the styrene to the maleic anhydride is 1: (1-9). According to the invention, the 2, 3-dimethyl-2, 3-diphenylbutane is adopted as an end-capping accelerant to act together with the di-tert-butyl peroxide initiator, so that the prepared styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer is low in molecular weight, low in yellowness and stable in acid value. The process is simple, continuous production can be realized, the production efficiency is high, a molecular weight regulator is not adopted, and the product is low in odor, less in residue and transparent.
