A system for attaching a cover layer to an electronic display includes: (a) at least one bracket defined by an outer surface and an inner surface; and (b) at least one second sorption member comprising a pressure sensitive adhesive layer. The bracket has an L-shaped cross-section including a first leg and a second leg.
