Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses an application of a ZmSCL14 gene in improvement of stress resistance of plants. Experiments prove that the ZmSCL14 gene has the capability of improving salt stress resistance and drought stress of corn. According to the invention, an overexpression strain of the ZmSCL14 gene is obtained through a gene engineering technology, and the overexpression homozygous strain of the ZmSCL14 gene is finally obtained after screening. The homozygous strain has the capability of obviously improving the salt stress resistance and the drought stress of the plant, not only can increase the seed germination rate, but also can improve the root development condition of the plant in the seedling stage under the salt stress.
