Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a low-cost and high-selectivity asymmetric polyimide/polyether sulfone (PES) blend hollow fiber membrane, a method for preparing the membrane and application of the membrane to separation of various liquids, gases and steam. The present invention relates to a process for the separation of various light gas mixtures, such as deep desulfurization of gasoline and diesel fuels, ethanol/water separation, total evaporation dehydration of aqueous/organic mixtures, CO2/CH4, CO2/N2, H2/CH4, He/CH4, O2/N2, H2S/CH4, olefin/paraffin, iso/n-paraffin separation, and other light gas mixtures. The polyimide/PES blend hollow fiber membrane is made from a blend of a polyimide polymer and PES, and exhibits surprisingly unique gas separation performance for gas separation, such as for H2/CH4, He/CH4, H2S/CH4, CO2/CH4 separation, with higher selectivity than a polyimide hollow fiber membrane without a PES polymer or a PES hollow fiber membrane without a PES polymer.
