Zusammenfassung:The invention provides an overhead transmission line engineering terrain automatic division method based on a digital elevation model, and the method comprises the following steps: building a DEM data model based on the terrain along an overhead transmission line, and the DEM data model comprises a plurality of scatter data with three-dimensional coordinates; defining a cell where at least one piece of scatter data is located as a pixel of a DEM data model; calculating the terrain gradient according to the gradient change rates of each pixel and the adjacent pixel in the first direction and the second direction; calculating a terrain fluctuation value of the DEM data model; and determining a division result of the terrain along the overhead transmission line according to the terrain gradient and the terrain fluctuation value.
