Sealing strip wear and temperature monitoring system and assembly thereof

An assembly for a paper machine includes a sealing strip having an upper surface configured to provide a seal for a suction roller; the sealing strip is located in the sealing strip support and can move relative to the sealing strip support; and a wear monitoring system.
