Some embodiments provide a device, the device comprising: a handpiece; an outer tube coupled to the handpiece; an inner tube housed within the outer tube and having a distal end coupled to the soft tip and a proximal end coupled to the adapter; the proximal end of the adapter is coupled to the distal end of the valve; a valve slidably coupled to the handpiece; and a wick slidably coupled to the handpiece and having a distal end coupled to the proximal end of the valve.
