Zusammenfassung:Provided is a method for producing an L-amino acid such as L-glutamic acid. An L-amino acid is produced by culturing a coryneform bacterium having an L-amino acid producing ability, which has been modified so as to have one or more modifications selected from the modifications (A) to (E) described below, in a culture medium, and collecting an L-amino acid from the culture medium and/or the cell of the bacterium: (A) a modification in which the activity of acetokinase is increased; (B) a modification that increases the activity of fructose-1, 6-biphosphatase; (C) a modification in which the activity of pyruvate dehydrogenase is reduced; (D) a modification in which the activity of aspartate transaminase is reduced; and (E) a modification in which the malic enzyme activity is reduced. 提供一种L-谷氨酸等L-氨基酸的制造方法。用培养基培养以使其具有选自下述(A)~(E)的修饰中的1种或1种以上的修饰的方式进行了修饰的、具有L-氨基酸生产能力的棒状细菌,从该培养基和/或该细菌的菌体处采集L-氨基酸,从而制造L-氨基酸:(A)乙酸激酶的活性增大的修饰;(B)果糖-1,6-双磷酸酶的活性增大的修饰;(C)丙酮酸脱氢酶的活性降低的修饰;(D)天冬氨酸转氨酶的活性降低的修饰;(E)苹果酸酶的活性降低的修饰。
