Zusammenfassung: | The present application relates to the use of a solid material comprising a matrix in which particles comprising or consisting of at least one antimicrobial agent are dispersed for preventing, limiting and/or eliminating contamination of said material and/or contamination of a composition in contact with said material during at least one given time, and/or preventing, eliminating and/or slowing the formation of a biofilm on the surface of the material wherein the antimicrobial agent is an oxide of at least one positively charged metal ion and the antimicrobial agent does not migrate to the outside of the material. The invention also relates to the use of such a material for manufacturing an article, to a method for manufacturing said article and to the article obtained. In particular, the articles are selected from lids, stoppers, washers, capsules, closures, valves, and cocks for sealing bottles, cans, jars, cartridges, kettles, buckets, troughs, or various containers for packaging and/or storing food, food, |
