The sliding plate chassis brake-by-wire system comprises an axle, a hub motor, a brake disc, a bearing, a first support, a friction block, a second support, a hinge point, a metal rod, a hub, a bolt, an electromagnetic adjusting device and an electric control unit. The electromagnetic adjusting device comprises a piston cylinder, a piston, a first electromagnetic coil, a first magnetostriction block, a second electromagnetic coil, a return spring and a second magnetostriction block; the electric control unit is connected with the first magnetostriction block and the second electromagnetic coil. All hydraulic structures are omitted, the system structure can be greatly simplified, and the design requirement of a sliding plate chassis can be met.
