Zusammenfassung: | A method of controlling a combustor of a gas turbine engine is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: supplying a total amount of fuel to the combustor depending on a load of the gas turbine engine, the total amount of fuel being distributed into a pilot fuel amount and a main fuel amount via a pilot fuel portion; monitoring at least one signal of at least one condition of the gas turbine engine; generating a steady state value of at least one signal indicative of a steady state of the gas turbine engine; a change in the at least one signal relative to the steady state value is detected. When a change in the at least one signal relative to the steady state value exceeds a predetermined limit, the method applies the following steps: generating a transient share compensation for the pilot fuel share according to a lookup table; and applying a transient portion compensation to the pilot fuel portion while maintaining the total amount of fuel supplied at any point in time.
