Zusammenfassung: | Catalyst systems for hydrocarbon reforming, as well as methods of using such catalyst systems, are provided. The catalyst system may be deposited or otherwise coated on a surface or structure, such as a monolith, to achieve improved activity and/or structural stability. The metal oxide support layer may correspond to a thermally stable metal oxide support layer, such as a thermally phase stable metal oxide support layer at a temperature of 800 DEG C to 1600 DEG C. The catalyst system may be beneficial for use in a cyclic reaction environment, such as a countercurrent reactor or other type of reactor that operates using streams of opposite directions and different times within the reaction cycle.
