The beta-elemene can be efficiently produced, the shake flask fermentation yield of the beta-elemene is close to 300mg/L, and the fermentation yield of a 1L fermentation tank can reach 1.8 g/L, which is the highest yield reported at present. The beta-elemene is efficiently generated by using the pichia pastoris, and the method has the characteristics of short period, environmental protection and resource conservation.
