System and method for communicating with motor vehicle

The invention relates to a system (1) and a method for communicating with a motor vehicle (2). The method comprises providing (S1) at least one social media interface (8, 9, 10, 11) for the motor vehicle (2) on a preset fleet server (7), via which social media interface (8, 9, 10, 11) communication via a social media application is provided; receiving (S2) a message from the mobile terminal (3, 4, 5, 6) via the social media interface; determining (S3) a vehicle function call from the message by an interpretation program (12), the semantics of the message being interpreted by the interpretation program to determine the vehicle function call; executing (S4) the determined vehicle function call in the motor vehicle (2); if the fleet server (7) obtains the vehicle parameter from the motor vehicle as a response to the vehicle function call, a response message is sent (S5) from the fleet server (7) to the mobile terminal (3, 4, 5, 6), the response message being generated as a function of the obtained vehicle parame
