The invention relates to a method for opening and/or closing a roll stand (1) having two working rolls (10) which form a nip (S) in which a rolled material (B) conveyed in a conveying direction (R) can be shaped, the position of at least one working roll (10) being variable in a plane perpendicular to the conveying direction (R), the method comprises the following steps: conveying the rolling stock (B) through the nip (S) in the conveying direction (R), and opening or closing the roll stand (1) by correspondingly increasing or decreasing the nip (S) during the process; during the opening and closing of the roll stand (1), the position of the rolling stock (B) before and/or after the nip (S) in a direction transverse to the conveying direction (R) is detected; and changing the position of the respective working roll (10) as a function of the detected position in such a way that the rolled material (B) is stabilized in the target position during the opening and closing of the roll stand (1). 用于打开和/或闭合轧机机架(1)的方法
