The vibration damping device comprises a first rotating part, a second rotating part and a vibration damping spring, wherein the first rotating part and the second rotating part can relatively rotate within a preset range, and torque can be transmitted through the vibration damping spring. The damping device further comprises a synchronizing mechanism capable of moving between a connecting position and a separating position, and at the connecting position, the synchronizing mechanism enables the first rotating component and the second rotating component to be connected in an anti-torsion mode so that the first rotating component and the second rotating component can rotate synchronously.
