The purpose of the present invention is to provide a ball body for motion that moves in a planar manner as a target object, which is capable of detecting the ball body for motion by using an inexpensive single camera even without a separate dedicated illumination, and also capable of spatial recognition, thereby getting rid of the restriction that the installation position of the camera needs to be fixed, and enabling the detection of the ball body for motion by using the single camera. The present invention relates to a motion sensing device and method for moving a ball in a plane by using a camera, and a motion sensing device and method for moving a golf ball on a putter pad, wherein the motion sensing device and method can be used with a simple structure without being limited by places. 本发明旨在提供一种以进行平面移动的运动用球体为目标物体，利用价廉型的单摄像头，并且不但即使没有单独的专用照明也能检测运动用球体，而且还能进行空间识别，因此摆脱摄像头的设置位置要固定的制约，能够以简单的构造不太受场所限制地使用的利用摄像头的平面移动球体的运动感测装置及方法、在推杆垫上移动的高尔夫球的运动感测装置及方法。
