Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a method for modifying polyolefin by irradiation, which comprises the following steps: S1, irradiating polyolefin powder at room temperature for 12-48 hours under the irradiation dose of 20-60 kGy to obtain pre-modified polyolefin; s2, mixing the pre-modified polyolefin with carbon tetrachloride, irradiating the mixture in an oxygen-free environment for 8-24 hours, filtering the mixture, and drying a filter cake at 45-60 DEG C to obtain modified polyolefin powder; the invention also provides an application of the irradiation modified polyolefin prepared according to the method as a wire and cable material.
