Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an acoustic valve (30) for a hearing device, comprising a valve body (31) defining a channel (33) and a seat member (35) and a shutter member (38) within the valve body. The shutter member defines a shutter surface (44) that forms a contact portion (45) and a non-contact portion (47). The shutter member is movable relative to the seat member to transition the valve (30) between an open state in which the shutter member (38) is moved away from the seat member (35) and the passage (33) is open to permit passage of sound, and a closed state in which the contact portion (45) abuts the seat member (35) and the non-contact portion (47) blocks the passage (33) to restrict passage of sound. The contact portion (45) forms a protruding structure (46) extending from the non-contact portion (47) towards the seat member (35) and having a small width in at least one lateral direction so as to minimize a contact area between the contact portion (45) and the seat member (35) when the valve is closed.
