Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a wireless coverage expansion method and system for an unmanned aerial vehicle assisted ground base station, and the method employs a high-frequency low-altitude relay unmanned aerial vehicle (LRL) and the ground base station to cooperatively serve a resource cell, thereby achieving the maximization of the number of users covered by the system. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, according to an antenna model and a channel model, obtaining the optimal deployment height of the LRL from the angle of maximizing the effective coverage radius; and secondly, constructing a graph model, regarding a horizontal position optimization problem of the LRL as a maximum point weight independent set problem, solving the maximum point weight independent set by using a graph theory algorithm, and further determining a horizontal deployment position of the LRL, so that the number of users covered by the LRL is maximum in an area which cannot be covered by a ground base station.
