The invention discloses a plate-type sulfur dioxide adsorption device which comprises an adsorption device body, the adsorption device body is characterized in that an adsorbent is coated on a rhombic stainless steel net; the preparation process of the adsorption device body comprises the following steps: putting 45-55 parts of a silicon-based mesoporous material, 25 parts of clay, 10-15 parts of a starch pore-forming agent, 5-10 parts of a polyethylene glycol plasticizer and 5-10 parts of ethyl cellulose into a mortar; uniformly mixing, and then adding a proper amount of water and ethanol to obtain an adsorbent; a rhombic stainless steel net is placed in a double-roller machine, a proper amount of adsorbent is added to the contact position of the rhombic stainless steel net and the double-roller machine, coating is conducted, and a primary blank with the thickness being 1.8 mm is formed; after the primary blank is dried, the primary blank is put into a box-type furnace to be sintered, shaped and cooled, and
