In order to solve the technical problems that in the prior art, a membrane material prepared through a flash spinning method has a total crease recovery angle and is poor in folding resistance, the folding-resistant membrane material and the preparation method thereof are provided, raw materials of the folding-resistant membrane material comprise polyethylene, the total crease recovery angle of the folding-resistant membrane material is 60-95 degrees, and the folding-resistant membrane material is tested through a horizontal method; and the folding strength of the folding-resistant film material is greater than 4.
