Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a preparation method of high-purity m-diisopropylbenzene and p-diisopropylbenzene, which comprises the following steps: by taking mixed diisopropylbenzene and tertiary carbon olefin as raw materials, selectively reacting the tertiary carbon olefin with o-diisopropylbenzene in the mixed diisopropylbenzene to generate a heavy component under the action of an alkylation catalyst; and the reaction liquid is subjected to rectification separation to obtain high-purity m-diisopropylbenzene and p-diisopropylbenzene. The one-way removal rate of the o-diisopropylbenzene is up to 98% or above. According to the method, mixed diisopropylbenzene, which is a byproduct of a phenol/acetone device and is in any proportion, can be converted into m-diisopropylbenzene and p-diisopropylbenzene with high additional value and high purity, the phenol/acetone industrial chain can be extended, and the commercial utilization value is high.
