Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an improved polyester polyol composition containing 2, 2, 4, 4-tetramethyl-1, 3-cyclobutanediol (TMCD), in particular to a polyester polyol composition containing 2, 2, 4, 4-tetramethyl-1, 3-cyclobutanediol. Coating compositions based on such TMCD polyester polyols can provide a good balance of desired coating properties such as solvent resistance, acid resistance, retort resistance, microcrack resistance, and flexural capacity.
