The invention discloses a method for inhibiting the decomposition of asenapine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in a patch. The adhesive patch is provided with an adhesive layer on a support, and the adhesive layer contains an adhesive base and asenapine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
