Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a method for reducing the tropism of leafhoppers to plants and application of the method in preventing and controlling leafhoppers in a tea field, and belongs to the technical field of gene interference. According to the method for reducing the tropism of the leafhopper to the plant, expression of EonuOR7, EonuIR25a, EonuGR1 and/or EonuOR2 genes of the leafhopper is silenced through an RNA interference method, and the tropism of the leafhopper to the plant is reduced. According to the invention, a leafhopper olfaction receptor is taken as a target, and the olfaction ability of leafhoppers is reduced by interfering the expression of EonuOR7, EonuIR25a, EonuGR1 and/or EonuOR2 genes, so that the reaction rate of the leafhoppers to volatile substances such as phenylacetaldehyde, acetophenone, phenethyl alcohol and the like is reduced.
