Coronary artery calcification scoring method and system based on chest flat scanning CT (Computed Tomography)

The invention discloses a coronary artery calcification scoring method and system based on chest plain-scan CT. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a chest plain-scan CT image; extracting a heart area from the chest plain-scan CT image; extracting each branch coronary blood vessel from the heart area; and identifying each branch coronary blood vessel, determining a calcification region of each branch coronary blood vessel, and further calculating to obtain coronary artery calcification points of all calcification regions of each branch coronary blood vessel.
