Method and system for providing oral care feedback to user

A method for encouraging a user to perform an oral care routine for a predetermined period of time using an oral care device is provided. The method includes recording a plurality of previous oral care sessions including at least one oral care session that ends before a predetermined period of time elapses after the user has started the oral care session. An oral care time characteristic is calculated based on a plurality of previous oral care sessions, and for a subsequent oral care session, a point in time for providing feedback to the user after the user has started performing the oral care routine is determined based on the oral care time characteristic.
