Additive system containing antioxidants and glyceryl stearate for improving color of polyethylene resins

The present application relates to an additive system comprising an antioxidant and glyceryl stearate for improving the color of polyethylene resins. Polymer compositions containing an ethylene polymer, 50 to 1500 ppm by weight of glyceryl stearate, and 250 to 7500 ppm by weight of an antioxidant selected from the group consisting of phenolic antioxidants, phosphite antioxidants, thioester antioxidants, or any combination thereof are described.
