Inductor with high current coil with low dc resistance

An inductor and a method for manufacturing the same are presented. The inductor includes a coil formed of a conductor and having a meandering shape. The coil may have an "S" shape. The coil has two leads extending from opposite ends of the coil. The inductor body surrounds the coil and a portion of the lead.
