User equipment operation with respect to positioning in split bearer mode

A user equipment (UE) is disclosed that communicates with a first base station via a first radio bearer and with a second base station via a second radio bearer. Uplink data transmissions using these radio bearers may be controlled by thresholds. During a positioning session that determines a location of the UE, the UE may modify the threshold to cause the UE to use both the first radio bearer and the second radio bearer.
