In order to solve the problem that two valves at a flue gas outlet pipeline of an existing bag type filter are easy to jam, the invention provides a novel two-way water seal device which comprises a first water seal assembly, a second water seal assembly and a water seal cover barrel, the first water seal assembly comprises a first water seal pipe, a second water seal pipe and a third water seal pipe which are coaxially and vertically arranged from inside to outside, and the second water seal pipe is provided with a horizontal exhaust port; the second water seal assembly comprises a fourth water seal pipe, a fifth water seal pipe and a sixth water seal pipe which are coaxially and vertically arranged; when the second water seal assembly is vertically inserted into the first water seal assembly, the radial position of the fourth water seal pipe is located between the first water seal pipe and the sec
