The invention provides a preparation method and application of an isothiazole-5 (2H)-imine compound, according to the method, a thioacrylamide compound as shown in a formula I is taken as a raw material, and a polysubstituted isothiazole-5 (2H)-imine compound as shown in a formula II can be obtained by cyclization reaction of the thioacrylamide compound under the action of an organic hypervalent iodine compound.
