Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the field of extraction and separation of traditional Chinese medicines, in particular to a phenol compound extracted, separated and identified from purslane and an extraction and separation method of the phenol compound. The molecular formula of the phenol compound is C10H14O, and the phenol compound is named as 2-isobutylpheol. The invention also provides an extraction and separation method of the compound. The method comprises the following steps: sequentially carrying out water decoction extraction, macroporous resin column chromatography, ODS medium-pressure column, Sephadex LH-20 and HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) for separation, purification and preparation. The structure of the compound is determined to be a novel phenol compound by adopting 1H NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance), 13C NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) and two-dimensional NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) spectrum analysis methods.
