The invention relates to organic electroluminescent materials and devices. There is provided a compound comprising a first moiety and a second moiety wherein the first moiety comprises an azabenzene bonded to a trivalent nitrogen atom that is part of an at least tricyclic heteroaromatic ring system. Formulations comprising these compounds are also provided.
