Temperature sensor, assembly, rotating electrical machine, and method for manufacturing temperature sensor

A temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of a coil provided in a vehicle contributes to an improvement in workability relating to the assembly of a device provided with the temperature sensor to the vehicle. A temperature sensor (10) is provided with: a heat-sensitive element (12) including a heat-sensitive body (121) and a pair of electric wires (122) extending in a first direction (x); a pair of lead frames (131, 132) connected to the electric wire (122) and connected to terminals of a mating connector (9); and a housing (14) including a first holding portion (141) for holding the heat sensitive element (12) and a second holding portion (142) for holding the lead frames (131, 132). Each of the lead frames (131, 132) includes a first portion (131A, 132A) extending in a first direction (x) from a portion connected to the electric wire (122), and a second portion (131B, 132B) continuous with the first portion and extending in a second direction (y) different from the first direction (x).
