Device for treating narrow along bile duct and/or pancreatic duct

A medical device for use along a bile duct and/or pancreatic duct. An exemplary system for treating stenosis (e.g., along the bile duct and/or pancreatic duct) includes a guidewire (10) for smooth stenosis traversing along the bile duct and/or pancreatic duct. The guidewire (10) has a distal end region and a proximal end region. An interface piece (32) is coupled to the proximal region. A tubular sheath (18) is slidably disposed along the guidewire (10). The tubular sheath (18) has a plurality of slots formed therein.
