Active patient-specific monitoring system

A method of configuring a medical device includes receiving first information characterizing a health condition of a patient. The method includes retrieving a generic model from a model data storage device, the generic model receiving patient information as input and providing a generic configuration of the medical device as output. The method further includes generating a patient-specific model based at least in part on the generic model and a health condition of a patient. The method also includes providing the first information to the patient-specific model to generate a patient-specific configuration of a medical device. The method further includes presenting a configuration suggestion. The configuration suggestion includes the generated patient-specific configuration.
