The method comprises the steps that when the current state of a robot is a charging preparation state, scheduling information of all robots is acquired; generating a to-be-charged identifier list and a charging decision list based on the scheduling information; the charging decision list comprises to-be-charged identifiers and charging pile identifiers matched with the to-be-charged identifiers; if the to-be-charged identifier list does not contain the identifier of the current robot, the current robot gives up charging; and if the to-be-charged identifier list contains the identifier of the current robot, searching a target charging pile identifier in a charging decision list according to the identifier of the current robot, and controlling the current robot to go to a charging pile corresponding to the target charging pile identifier according to the working environment map for charging.
