The invention provides a touch system and an operation method for the touch system. The touch system comprises a touch tool and a touch panel. The touch tool provides a downlink signal according to a first uplink signal. The touch panel judges whether a sensing area sensed by the touch tool exists or not according to the downlink signal. When the sensing area does not exist, the touch panel provides a first uplink signal for the plurality of touch sensing electrodes. When the sensing area exists, the touch panel provides a first uplink signal for the sensing area and provides a second uplink signal for at least part of the touch sensing electrodes outside the sensing area.
