The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing silicon with an in-situ catalyst zirconium disilicide to prepare an infiltration material, putting a SiC/C biscuit or a pure C biscuit into a graphite crucible, completely embedding the ceramic biscuit by using sufficient Si/ZrSi2 infiltration material, and carrying out infiltration and catalytic reaction under a vacuum condition to generate the silicon carbide ceramic.
