DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF DRIVING THE SAME

A display apparatus and a method of driving the display apparatus are provided. The display device includes: a display panel; and a driving controller receiving input image data including a plurality of normal image frames and a plurality of black image frames, receiving a flag indicating a type of each of the frames included in the input image data, generating intermediate image data by adjusting a gradation of the input image data based on the input image data and the flag, and outputting the intermediate image data.
