The fault severity assessment method for the energy storage spring of the circuit breaker comprises the steps of collecting an elastic force signal of the energy storage spring of the circuit breaker within a specified duration; extracting a time domain feature vector from the elastic force signal of the energy storage spring of the circuit breaker; and inputting the time domain feature vector into a pre-trained energy storage spring fault severity evaluation model to obtain a fault severity evaluation result of the circuit breaker energy storage spring.
