Zusammenfassung:An insert (150) for use in a knee prosthesis (100) is disclosed. In one embodiment, the insert includes an inboard compartment (260) and an outboard compartment (270). The inner compartment comprises a top surface (262) having a concave or curved surface with a more rearward groove (Pm) and an increased front lip (265). The outer compartment includes a top surface (272) having at least a section or portion with a convex or curved surface. As such an arrangement, the insert arrangement and configuration provides improved stability for different levels of PCL defects compared to existing inserts having midline trenches and outboard lobes.
